Michelle Reddy

Fund Manager

Michelle is a Pacific women’s rights feminist activist, with over 10 years’ extensive experience on gender equality and human rights in Fiji and the Pacific from her previous leadership positions with Fiji Women’s Rights Movement, Pacific Centre for Peacebuilding and Leadership FIJI. Michelle is a skilled program manager with exceptional resource mobilisation, project development and implementation skills.

Michelle has a Bachelor of Education majoring in Literature and Language, Postgraduate Diploma in Literature and currently pursuing a Postgraduate Diploma in Development Studies at the University of the South Pacific.

Menka Goundan

Menka Goundan

Senior Program Manager

Menka Goundan is feminist activist and has worked in research, advocacy and training in women’s human rights in Fiji and the Pacific. She has previously worked with the Pacific Centre for Peacebuilding and Fiji Women’s Rights Movement. Menka is the outgoing Secretary for the NGO Coalition on Human Rights in Fiji and is also a member of the Program Advisory Committee of the Asian-Pacific Resource and Research Centre for Women (ARROW).

Menka has a Bachelor of Commerce in Management and Public Administration; and Tourism Studies from the University of the South Pacific and a Professional Certificate in Women’s Peacebuilding Leadership from the Eastern Mennonite University. She is also an Alumni of the Pacific Research Colloquium at the Australian National University and currently pursuing a Postgraduate Diploma in Development Studies at the University of the South Pacific.

Devina Devi

Devina Devi

Program Officer

Devina has vast experience in capacity building and community development. She worked extensively with community groups, women’s groups and youth networks in her previous roles at the University of the South Pacific, FRIEND, Fiji Ministry of Women and Social Welfare and Ministry of Youth and Sports.

Devina has a Bachelor of Science majoring in Geography and Earth Science and a Masters in Development Studies from the University of the South Pacific.

Roshni Chand

Roshni Chand

Finance and Administration Officer

Roshni has more than 10 years’ experience in finance and administration field. She comes equipped with project management skills and is a finance trainer for Management Accounting for non-governmental organisations (MANGO). Roshni has worked at the Fiji Education Sector Program (FESP), Multi National Observer Group (MOG) and the Pacific Leadership Program (PLP).

Roshni holds a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Human Resources Management, Employment Relations and Public Administration and Management at the University of the South Pacific.

Kuini Rabo

Kuini Rabo

Program Officer

Kuini has 10 years’ experience working with communities, specifically women networks in Fiji and in the Pacific. She has also managed gender and energy projects and is experienced in aid coordination. Kuini worked with the Secretariat of the Pacific Community, University of the South Pacific and with the Government of Fiji.

Kuini has a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Management and a Postgraduate Diploma in Social Policy from the University of the South Pacific.

Shyana Ali

Shyana Ali

Administrative Support Assistant

Shyana is a feminist and joined the women’s movement through the Emerging Leaders Forum which is a year-long feminist leadership programme run by Fiji Women’s Rights Movement (FWRM) for young women. Shyana has previously worked in the corporate sector, volunteered with local, regional and international non-governmental organisations and agencies. However, her most extensive experience has been with FWRM in two separate roles, initially as the Administration Assistant and most recently as the Programme Support Officer.

Shyana has studied journalism in university and is looking forward to completing her studies.

Tiriseyani Naulivou

Tiriseyani Naulivou

Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Coordinator

Tiriseyani has over ten years of community development experience, having served in various roles at Partners in Community Development Fiji (PCDF) and as Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) Officer with the Australian Government’s Fiji Program Support Facility. In her community development work she has fostered organisational culture of appreciating MEL as a key component of work and also contributed to ensuring that gender is a cross-cutting priority within the programs she has worked with. Tiriseyani is passionate about community development as well as mental health and suicide prevention. She facilitated the formation of the Youth Champs for Mental Health in 2008 and currently serves on the Boards of Lifeline Fiji and PCDF.

Tiriseyani has a Masters in Development Studies from the University of Melbourne, as well as a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Psychology and Journalism from the University of the South Pacific.

Erica Lee

Erica Lee

Communications Officer

Erica Lee is a Strategic Communications Specialist with over 14 years experience working in the communications and marketing industry both in the private and public sector.  She is passionate about development journalism and has extensive experience with social media marketing, event management, management and supervision of publications, content management & website development and public relations.

Prior to joining the Fund, Erica worked as the Communications Associate at UN Capital Development Fund's Pacific Financial Inclusion Programme.  She has also previously worked in similar roles at the Pacific Islands Private Sector Organisaton, Fiji Independent Commission Against Corruption and the Fiji Human Rights Commission. Erica holds a Diploma in Pacific Journalism from the University of the South Pacific and also pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Management and Public Administration.
