Sala is a development sector practitioner with 20 years’ experience in grant management including oversight and risk management and governance. She has worked in 14 Pacific Island countries in the public health sector specifically in HIV response. She has an extensive working knowledge of civil society community networks in the Pacific, UN and CROP agencies. Sala has intimate working knowledge of donor agency culture specifically DFAT, Global Fund for HIV, TB and Malaria and has coordinated the Global Fund Governance Mechanism secretariat for 14 Pacific Island countries till 2016. Sala is currently completing her Masters in Governance at the University of the South Pacific.
